News of July 28, 2025: H2ORO News: A new plant for the production of drinking water from highly brackish water is ready for shipment: destination Zanzibar – Tanzania!
In July 2025, H2ORO completed the supply of a new reverse osmosis system for the production of desalinated water from highly brackish water. This system will be used at the new Planhotel resort, which is about to open on Nungwi Beach in Zanzibar, near the Planhotel group’s already renowned Sandies Baobab Beach.
The system supplied is H2ORO’s H-RO200B2 model, a containerized version, capable of producing 200 cubic meters of potable water per day from highly brackish water, purifying it and making it suitable for all the uses necessary to manage the resort’s activities. Operation can be adjusted based on actual water needs, which vary depending on the seasons and the influx of visitors to the resort.
The new system is scheduled to go into production in autumn 2025; we’ll keep you updated!
